   Her Option Minimize

Freedom from Heavy Periods!

Generations is offering Her Option®, an exciting new treatment for heavy menstrual flow.

Her Option® office cryoablation therapy uses sub-zero temperatures (cryoablation) to reduce or eliminate excessive menstrual periods. The cold temperature destroys the uterine lining, which results in less tissue to shed every month. The procedure takes about 20 minutes and is performed in the familiar surroundings of our office. Patients may resume normal activities by the next day if not sooner. Her Option® is effective in over 90% of patients. Please call our office at 769-4444 and schedule an appointment to learn more about Her Option®. You may also go to www.heroption.com for more information.

   New OB Screening Minimize

ATTENTION NEW OB PATIENTS

WE HAVE ADDED A NEW

GENETIC SCREENING TEST!

We are routinely offering Early Screen® for prenatal genetic testing.  It includes an ultrasound exam for Nuchal Translucency (pronounced “nukal”) which is performed between 11 – 13 weeks of pregnancy to identify babies who may be at risk of Down syndrome or Trisomy 18.  Early Screen is a combination of a blood test (free Beta/PAPP-A) and a special ultrasound exam.

Early Screen can provide valuable information about your pregnancy and screen for chromosomal and fetal abnormalities such as heart defects.  The test detects 91% of Down syndrome babies.  This test is voluntary.  We will discuss the Nuchal Translucency screening test at your first prenatal care visit.  At you second visit at 11 -13 weeks, you will see our ultrasound technologist for the test.  This test cannot be performed after 13 weeks 6 days of pregnancy.  All patients under 35 are eligible for the Early Screen test.

Most insurance companies will pay for this service.

The key to screening is early detection.
