Generations ObGyn is pleased to offer obstetrical and gynecological care with AIUM accredited 3D/4D real-time ultrasound imaging technology. Each office location has a General Electric Voluson 730 Pro 3D/4D real-time ultrasound machine. The "fourth" dimension is time, in this case: advanced processing software adds real-time movement to the three-dimensional view of a fetus. In other words, real-time means that you will actually see fetus movements that will be recorded on VHS tape. Images recorded in 3D/4D are saved on CD and can be viewed on your home computer. Insurance companies do not routinely cover the cost of the 3D or 4D capability unless it is performed for medical reasons. We are pleased to offer these services to our established obstetrical patients. Please check with the receptionist for more information regarding charges for non-medical 3D/4D recordings.

Both of our offices are AIUM certified. This Certificate of Accreditation comes from the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine. We have three registered ultrasound techs with over 45 years of combined experience. They have received specialized training for 2D/3D and 4D obstetrical and gynecological ultrasounds.

Our registered ultrasonographers consist of: Raeietta M. Bailey, RT(R), RDMS, Brooke Combest, RT(R), RDMS, and Mary Luna, RT(R), RDMS.

Shown below are sample images of the fetus. The clarity of 3D/4D ultrasound images are dependent on the position of the baby.
